"I joined Notts Sport in 2002 after a years travelling following completion of my degree in Sports Science. Initially, I joined in a sales support role before being given a place on a development programme which would take me through a 4 month process to eventually be a Regional Sales Manager in our Childs Play division. After a successful 3 year period in that role, I applied to join the Multi Sports team as a project development manager which I was fortunate enough to get after which followed an intensive 6 months training in all aspects of the development, design and construction of synthetic sports facilities of all types.When the team leader left in 2007, I was promoted to become Head of Multi Sports and as a result of extensive investment in my development and training (internal and external) throughout my time at the company I felt comfortable taking on the additional responsibility. Since then I have overseen a 100% increase in sales in the sports sector, achieving record sales for 3 years running (2012-14) and I have overseen an expansion in the team from 2 to 5 people as a result.
In 2014 I was delighted to be made a full Director and Shareholder which meant I had moved from a temporary sales support role to being appointed as Director within a 12 year period illustrating how the company invests in people who want to develop and grow."
